I had various careers in England, the most boring
being a Civil Servant and the most exciting being a
Police Officer. I joined the Registration Service
after a lengthy illness and being a part of the most
important day of people’s lives gave me an enormous
amount of pleasure and satisfaction.
My husband and I have lived in Cyprus for some
years, and love the Island and its friendly people.
The atmosphere is brilliant for special ceremonies,
with the sun, scenery and numerous taverns or hotels
to choose from.
I decided to continue my career as a celebrant and
really do enjoy turning special occasions into truly
memorable events.

I was fortunate in having an
interesting and exciting first career in Local Radio.
'Plymouth Sound' in my home town was one of the
early commercial stations and I was privileged to be
in at the start. I presented a daily show for 6
years and then a weekend show while my family were
growing up.
I decided I would like to put my presentation skills
to a different use and went into Registration 7
years ago. Attending ceremonies was an enjoyable and
fulfilling part of my job. I have officiated at many
hundreds of Marriages, also Renewal of Vows,
Commitment and Baby Naming.
I divide my time now between Cyprus and Plymouth and
when in the UK happily return to work, doing the job
I love.
Spending time in 'The Island of Love' I feel it
natural that I should also be doing ceremonies here.
There are so many beautiful settings and to be part
of someone’s special occasion is my ideal.
